This Dan Skelton horse is being aimed at this race and will be fresh as a daisy. Some low placings and interesting rides mean he is well-handicapped so it would be wise to throw a few shrapnel on this Skelton fancy. I’d be amazed if he’s 8/1 on the day!

Mullins-trained chance from France who impressed at Naas last month – won by nine lengths! Very fast and wouldn’t be surprised if bolts up at Cheltenham. Was 16/1 a couple of days ago, word may be getting around, so we had better jump on now while still a nice price and NRNB…

Rationale: I think this may be Mullins’ best play of the festival and having read his recent stable tour review in the Racing Post, I think we need to put some initial change on this horse. The odds could be better but with NRNB we have a bit of insurance. I wouldn’t be surprised if Majborough goes off evens or odds on so there could be value. You may want to consider a 3 unit move here and/or add to a decent multiple.

Majborough, Old Park Star for the Supreme Novices, Lossiemouth for the mares hurdle and Narciso Has for the triumph hurdle.
