Twister Tipster – Service Update
The Twister Tipster service restarted in December after being on hiatus and offers free horse racing tips (usually, daily) with some golf and other sport tips, when relevant.
From January 1, we started to include advising on points and showing rolling profit/loss figures. This was to help guide users better and to help manage gambling better. We had a great start with some nice wins and ended January 13.56pts up (£271 on £20 a point).
February has been much tougher, as some of you know – not least as we hit a poor run at the Dublin Racing Festival with some in-form horses misfiring and we have had some bad luck (not least, when a clear winner on Friday was blocked off and we didn’t get the stewards’ call). Many other very good tipsters are down – not just us. That’s horse racing for you though and the nature of the business. It means we are currently 17.7pts down on the month and will struggle to finish this month in profit. We don’t chase losses here though – unlike some other tipsters!
We are confident of a rebound in March as we head into the biggest UK event in the sport – Cheltenham. There will be much more content coming up in the next few weeks as we preview each day and tip the most likely winners – some will be part of the service and some will be ‘fancies’ that you may or may not want to try.
At the end of the day, this is meant to be fun and betting on horses should be no more than a side hobby. Make sure you have a solid betting bank – we advise at least £1,000 for £10 a point betting. Be prepared to lose it all. We hope you will profit and have a good laugh…
