Yesterday was a train wreck of a day with just one horse placing from numerous selections. Big fields and wet weather didn’t go our way in the slightest with a very dubious ride in Ireland to boot. Annoying given we had some good winners during the week.
I’m not the type to use the day after to chase – in fact, I do the opposite and reflect. As much as I love Southwell and Plumpton, I am going to take a day away. Once the jumps return and are in full swing, we should be back in business…
