Happy Saturday!! We returned a small profit (£5 from £10 each way bets) yesterday with the second tip placing (the first tip didn’t run) so we are hoping for something more spectacular today!

Saturday August 12 – Horse Racing Tips
Ascot 3.55 – Golden Maverick 12/1 (4 Places) This is a reserve horse so we need one of the horses to pull out for this to run. If this French gelding does run though, we should have a great chance as he has won his last three races and performs well on soft and good-to-soft ground, which is what we should have at Ascot today. Definitely worth an each-way punt and our money will be returned anyway if he doesn’t run!
Ascot 4.30 – Washington Heights 5/1 (3 Places) He’s been banging on the door for some time now to win a race of this nature – usually losing to Quinault (also racing today!). Quinault’s success has led to his odds being too short for my liking so I’m going to take a punt on Washington Heights, the prince of finishing second, especially with Hollie Doyle taking the ride today. At 5/1 for 4 places (4 in some places), feels like decent value as a bet to nothing so let’s have a punt!
