Horse Racing Selections – Friday February 27, 2026

Good morning – had a day off yesterday after a nice winner on Wednesday.

Just a few for today… these are horses that I like (you may recognise the names) and regularly back over the years. A couple of them have their ‘usual’ jockeys back on tonight. Hopefully, one of them turns up and wins!

Horse Racing Selections – Tuesday January 27, 2025

Good afternoon – we had a dreadful day yesterday and find ourselves at -23.5 units this month. I am tempted to pause until Cheltenham while conditions remain tricky but I’ll carry on with tightened selections in the meantime. We will also have the Dublin Racing Festival (DRF) at the weekend which can be lucrative!

Good morning – finally, the winners are starting to arrive after a barren period! We had Indian River win at 5/6 yesterday (went off at 4/6 so there was value there) at 3 units giving us 2.5 units profit. Sadly, the second selection was a no-show. It brings our monthly P/L to -15.5.

Horse Racing Selections – Monday January 5, 2026

Good morning – the weather is poor here in the UK with snow and ice. The all-weather fixture of Wolverhampton is still set to run later but with more bad weather forecast, I am not certain it will go ahead and/or with decent racing fields.

With this in mind, let’s swerve today and have another day off.

Horse Racing Selection – Monday December 22, 2025

Good morning – we had a bad day yesterday with two horses storming through and both inexplicably fading away at the end. Sums up our month with us now 17.57 units down in December.

Just one selection for today before UK horse racing pauses for a couple of days and resumes on Boxing Day – we will have quite a busy period then up to new year. I will still keep things tight though – no more ‘through the cards’ – given the current sticky spell as we aim to get back in the black…
