York Ebor Festival Day 3 — Six Selections Headlined by the Nunthorpe Stakes

Date Posted: Friday August 21, 2026

We’re three days in at the Ebor Festival. The TikTok from Tuesday went viral and plenty of new followers have joined us this week — welcome if you’re new, this is exactly what we do. Let’s have a big day.

1:50 Zennor Storm (7/2) — 1pt win
Haggas yard, Marquand in the saddle. Finished second of 19 at Goodwood last month at 18-1, beaten a length. That run is massively undervalued. Ready to win. 1pt win.

2:25 Caballo De Mar (2/1) — 2pts win
Nine career wins, Group 1 Gold Cup run last time, dropping back in class today with Oisin Murphy. Horses of this quality find things much easier after a test like that. 2pts win.

3:00 Arapaho Gold (11/4) — 1.5pts win
Unbeaten in three this season. OR 104 at two years old. Won at Newbury last month. Hard to oppose. 1.5pts win.

3:35 Nunthorpe Stakes — Bacio (3/1) 1.5pts win + Aint Nobody (40/1) 1pt each way (4 places)
Bacio won at Ascot by four lengths last time. Four. He’s the one. Aint Nobody at 40/1 each way is the big price shot — four places in the Nunthorpe gives him every chance to sneak into the frame.

4:10 Zanndabad (11/1) — 1pt each way (5 places)
AJ Martin’s veteran, five places at 11/1. Each way value play to round off the card.

Good luck. Results as they come in right here.

York Ebor Festival Day 2 — Four Selections Including the One Everyone Is Talking About

Date Posted: Thursday August 20, 2026

Day one at the Ebor Festival delivered a winner and a place, and after yesterday’s TikTok took off, welcome to everyone finding Twister Tipster for the first time. The momentum is building — and Day 2 looks even more interesting. Here are four selections.

1:50 — Star of State (2pts win) 5/2

JP O’Brien’s two-year-old filly arrives at York with just two runs behind her, but the quality she’s shown is striking. Her last run at Leopardstown last month was outstanding — a nine-length victory as 1-3 favourite over 6f on good ground. That kind of margin at that level, from one of the most powerful yards in Europe, demands respect. She steps up in class today but O’Brien’s fillies frequently thrive when asked that question. Dylan Browne McMonagle, arguably Europe’s most in-form jockey right now, takes the ride. At 5/2, this is fair market pricing for a horse who hasn’t come close to her ceiling yet. 2pts win.

2:20 — Thebesthasyetocome (1 pt each way, 4 places) 11/1

This is the one. As recently as last night one bookmaker had this two-year-old at 66/1. This morning he’s 11/1. That overnight collapse doesn’t happen without a reason. A Keatley’s colt won well at Ayr last time, taking a 6f contest on soft ground by three and a half lengths as favourite, and while an official rating of 83 looks modest for this level, the money tells a different story entirely. When confidence pours in at this speed and on this scale, it pays to be on the right side of it. 1 pt each way, 4 places.

3:00 — Centigrade (2pts win) 2/1

Ralph Beckett’s four-year-old has a consistent profile at this level — two wins over 1m, comfortable on varying ground, and a last run at Southwell where he beat Star Of The Desert by nearly three lengths at 6-4 favourite. Rossa Ryan rides and the market has him at the head of the pack at 2/1. Solid each-way profile but we’re going for the win here. 2pts win.

3:35 — Minnie Hauk (1 pt each way) 9/2

Ryan Moore. Aidan O’Brien. Course and distance winner. Official rating of 121. Those four things alone make this impossible to leave out. Minnie Hauk was last seen finishing in the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot — no disgrace whatsoever at that level. She’s been brilliantly versatile throughout her career, winning six times from 1m to 1m4f across all ground types. Today represents a step down in class and a return to a track she’s already won at. At 9/2 each way this is excellent value. 1 pt each way.
